Curriculum Vitae
My professional path spans nearly 17 years of specialized experience, having started my career in the LCA world in March 2009.
Backed by my Diploma (Dipl.-Wirt.-Chem.) in Business (specialized in Environmental Management) Chemistry, I combine deep scientific understanding with the strategic requirements of product sustainability.
Prior to QuaLCA, I spent 11 years at Sphera (formerly thinkstep/PE International), where I evolved from a practitioner to the Internal Quality Assurance Authority for the chemical and plastics sector. I did not just manage projects; I personally executed several dozens of LCAs and EPDs, and built the technical infrastructure behind them—developing semi-automated calculation models and standardized data collection sheets to ensure data integrity.
As a member of the Sphera internal methodology group, I also operationalized complex (sector) guidelines (e.g., TfS, PEF) to ensure they were correctly applied in modeling and LCA practice in general. Today, I leverage this deep expertise to help organizations ensure their environmental claims and results are defensible, transparent, and compliant.
My earlier career includes nearly six years combined at IfU Hamburg (now i-point) and Brands&Values—both recognized players in the LCA consulting market.
